Another Two "New" Rooms

Since Easter, with the help of money from the Sisters of Mercy Project, workmen have made beautiful and refurbished two rooms which will be used daily to bring comfort to physically handicapped children.

On June 20th a party was arranged for the official opening of these rooms as places where ergo-therapy will be given. Staff, children, parents and visitors were delighted to see bright, cheerful and clean rooms to work in and the "cherry on the cake" was the sight of the new equipment and toys provided by the Doherty family and friends after a sponsored walk up a Donegal Mountain. In fact one of the rooms will be used by the doctor to see and treat children at various stages. Having rooms like these boosts the morale of doctors, patients and parents.

Beautifying the surroundings also helps in the treatment and
progress of each child. It gives them a feeling of being special - which, of course, they are!
